Here is a short geometric animation I found on Youtube. I like the smoothness and simplicity of the animation. Looks like something I could try recreating on ToomBoom. Yes - this would be a good sequence of animated shapes to try out - maybe link it to your FInal Project idea?
I really liked this piece of animation. I like how it made really complex geometric shapes into simpler forms. The animation style is very smooth and it's not overly fussy with colour or effects.
Abstract animated shapes can be very expressive - worth considering in your own Final Project...
Brings back memories of of watching things on video. It's playful and the sound effects are pleasant to hear.
It was AMAZING when I first saw this on TV in 1986 as it was the FIRST 3D animation ever screened in the world... I thought maybe it was plasticine!A great combination of 2D animation (John Lasseter) planning and 3D construction-loads of other people.
John lasseter made this when he was 29 then went on to direct Toy StoryI think you know the rest...
I love how they use colours to show the different emotions as well the rather simple art style. I also just love the general story to it and think its adorable.
The little Pup has a good solid geometric base which adds to the cuteness...can't get TOO involved my cat won't let me.
I have taken a liking in this short film.
I find the transaction of the various geometric shapes very interesting and it is clear to me that a lot of frames where used in order to achieve this smooth-looking affect.
Yes there is a lot of tricky work in there and witty use of geometry - a very good choice.
I like how this animation while fast pace also shows what you can do with simple 2D shapes
While this is a really short animation,
I like how it shows what you can do with 3D shapes in a basic animation and that you can make the animation go in tune to music Like the way you have contrasted 2D and 3D animation - well researched
I love this animation because It highlights the different geometric shapes of nature and of the world:
from the circle to the triangle and so on.
I really like the fact that even the most complex things in nature can be stylized and transform in simple shapes. The
geometric form are the basis of everything! That's fantastic!! Excellent Research- a really great choice that does indeed show that we are all part of
Nature's Geometric Pattern
I really like the transitions used from shape to shape within this animation.
Yes and there's a lot of visual wit in the way the shapes move to the music -good choice.
I like the simplicity of it and the use of colour is very visually appealing
True and the way the animation is synced to te soundtrack is Spot On!
This is the animation with geometric base that I found. It may be quite small and simple but I like the shapes and the colours a lot. Yes simple geometry can produce excellent animation - it does not have to be too complex to be interesting
